My son Sylas turned one on January 8th so he had a big bash of a party. He had about 10 little friends come to celebrate and a lot of family. I was concerned that it might be a bit to overwhelming for him but he had a small nap in the morning and he was in good spirits all day..
I slaved for two days in the kitchen baking a family of turtles for the cakes and then I went to hobby lobby and found some crafty supplies to create little gift boxes for all the kids. They turned out really cute. All in all it was a great day and he had a blast.. I think he could tell he was the center of attention for the day..
Well we survived the first year. I can't believe it's been a year already; the time has flown by.. He is no longer a baby, he's such a little man now.. A toddler oh No! The baby stage sure goes fast. I look forward to the next year with Sylas, and watching him change and grow even more..
